The Art of Resting
Welcome to an evening of self-exploration, stress release, and nervous system work.
We welcome Emilie Lassen to the studio for a curated evening focusing on your wellbeing through somatic work and soundbath. In this special class, Emilie Lassen will begin the evening guiding you through gentle stimulation of the vagus nerve through different somatic practices, helping the body settle and shift into a more regulated state.
From there, we move into myofascial release using cork balls, working through the body to release areas where stress and tension may be held in the fascia.
We pause for a short tea and snack break before we enter the second part: the soundbath, lead by Camilla Vangsgaard. Soundbath is an experience where you rest on your mat with blankets, bolsters and eyepillows to help you settle into a meditative state where you can leave the outside world and focus on the very present. Using Tibetan singing bowls, wind chims, crystal bowls, drums and rain sticks Camilla will lead you through a journey of sounds that will put you in a state of full relaxation. The aim with this specially curated evening is that you leave the studio feeling more connected to your body, having listened a little deeper and perhaps discovered something new that your body has been holding onto.
During the evening, you will also have the opportunity to try the Face Mist Extract from LEN Skincare, which calms, replenishes, and strengthens the skin barrier. It’s formulated with high-performance humectants and antioxidant gemstones like Dead Sea salt and malachite extract.
We will also offer snacks from Liten’s. Liten’s fruitballs have two different flavours that are made with berries and fruits, rich in fiber, and contain 56 million good bacteria.
